Shipping & Returns
Rumi Living offers free shipping on all Australia orders over AUD$100 and over AUD$150 for the rest of the world.
Items will be dispatched from our international warehouse 2-8 business days* after purchase, and may be sent separately to ensure your new homeware is packaged in the safest way possible. Orders are estimated to be delivered within 7-15 business days* depending on your location within Australia and up to 21 business days* for International orders. However, we seek your patience in the case of delivery delays due to COVID-19 and the fulfilment of some bulky/fragile/made-to-order items.
Tracking numbers will be sent to your email once they have been updated with the courier. If orders aren't collected or need to be "returned to sender" due to insufficient or incorrect information, the responsibility to resolve this lies with the purchaser.
Please double check to ensure all details are entered correctly. Once an order is placed, the purchaser has committed to the sale and declares that all information entered (including the shipping address) is correct. It is the purchaser's responsibility to resolve any discrepancies in this place, or in the instance of unclaimed parcels with their local postal/courier service. We may at times be able to reship orders at the expense of the purchaser.
*Timeframes are only an estimate and can vary from time to time in the event of unforeseen circumstances i.e. delivery delays.
**Do note that as a small business with limited capacity at the moment, some inventory are stored in our own warehouse located abroad in China where orders may be sent directly from. Rest assured that all orders are personally packed and fulfilled by one of us before being shipped by EMS/DHL to wherever you may be in the world!
We highly encourage you to shop mindfully and consider thoroughly before making a purchase. In some cases we can accept a return on your order. To start a return, shoot us an email at email@example.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send instructions on where to send your package. Return shipping costs to our Brisbane, Australia address are covered by the customer and we recommend you return via trackable mail as Rumi Living will not be liable for returns lost in transit. Items sent back to us without requesting a return first will not be accepted. The return status will be updated once we have received and inspected the returned product. Once inspected and approved, a refund will be processed automatically back to your original payment method. Please allow a few days for the refund to be reflected in your bank account.
If your order has arrived damaged, defective, or you’ve received the incorrect items in your package, please send an email within 7 days of delivery and include photos of both the item and the packaging. We will happily address these on a case-by-case basis, and the items will either be replaced or refunded. Rumi Living will not be held responsible for any damages, unforeseen delays or additional charges that are incurred during shipping.
Items that are returned to us due to improper or incomplete address information will be the responsibility of the customer.
